This week, my song pick is “And Run” by He is We. This is a little bit of nostalgia and a little bit of looking forward. This song was on one of my first-ever running playlists, and I remember how much it pushed me to keep going. This week has been flux and flow for me with energy, and I try to remember to not compare my today with my yesterday (or decade ago), which can be hard to look forward rather than stay in lament.
I don’t feel like I am where this song is right now, but it’s a reminder that I can be there again.
